Evening with Marion Todd + Lynne McEwan

Join us for a thrilling evening as we host two of Scotland's finest crime writers, Marion Todd and Lynne McEwan, as they discuss their latest novels.

About Marion:

Before becoming a full-time writer, Marion worked as a lecturer, candle-maker and hotel lounge pianist, a job which provided rich material for her novels.

More recently, Marion has turned her hand to crime fiction and in 2020 was shortlisted for the prestigious Bloody Scotland Scottish Crime Debut of the Year award with her novel See Them Run, the first in the DI Clare Mackay crime series. We will be talking to Marion primarily about her latest book, "Bridges to Burn" which will be the 8th instalment of the series.

About Lynne:

Glasgow-born Lynne McEwan is a former national newspaper photographer turned crime author. She recently graduated with an MA Crime Fiction (Distinction) from the University of East Anglia’s creative writing programme.

Her first novel, IN DARK WATER, set on the Scottish border and featuring part-time lifeboat woman and full-time DI Shona Oliver, was published in June 2021. Two further outings for Shona followed, DEAD MAN DEEP (Aug 2022) and THE GIRLS IN THE GLEN (May 2023). We will be talking with Lynne about her latest book, "The Gathering Storm".
