TC & The Groove Family ft. Franz Von

TC & The Groove Family are a 10-piece collective whose music celebrates the coming together of cultures, and the community that music can provide for everyone. Driven by drummer Tim Cook (TC) and fronted by Sheffield wordsmith Franz Von, their live shows are powerful and dynamic, creating moments of both euphoria and stillness to keep audiences on their toes. Originally formed in Leeds, their sound reflects the diverse musical and cultural backgrounds at the core of the project, with songs exploring grooves and genres including afrobeat, broken beat, jungle, jazz and grime.

Building on the success of early singles, debut album 'First Home' found support from tastemakers including Jamz Supernova and Craig Charles on BBC Radio 6. They also had strong backing from BBC Introducing West Yorkshire, and their single ‘Duende’ was playlisted on Jazz FM. After making a name for themselves on the UK festival circuit in 2022, with appearances at Glastonbury, We Out Here, Greenman and Kendal Calling, the band have embarked on their first UK-wide tour in 2023, supported with funding from Jazz North’s ‘Northern Line’.

Oreglo

Oreglo are a four piece London based collective. Their musical journeys began from organisations Tomorrows Warriors and Kinetika Bloco where the group met. Formed through a shared interest in the fusion of genres such as jazz, rock and reggae, their influences are diverse and reflect the backgrounds of each member.
