Casual Drag
Edinburgh garage-punks Casual Drag return for a hometown headline at Sneaky Pete's to launch their new single 'Can You Hear Me Now?' - with support from Glasgow punks the Crails
Snarling vocals over feral guitar riffs, backed by pounding drums and bass – Scottish garage punk three-piece Casual Drag have earned a reputation as a must-see live band through a series of packed and frenetic shows across their homeland.
Their standout brand of clattering garage-rock has led to support slots with Joe Talbot of IDLES, Lice, Flat Worms, JOHN and Press Club. Singles 'Bleach Head' and 'Something Good' were championed by BBC Introducing, BBC6 Music and Amazing Radio.
Their debut EP ‘Revolution Will Eat Itself’ landed in 2023 and immediately gained wider attention. It’s a body of work that encapsulates their raucous live shows. There is a drive and energy embedded within their music, raw and edgy with twisted riffs and crashing drums
Their new single 'Can You Hear Me Now?' was recorded at Green Door Studios with Ronan Fay of Sweaty Palms.
