Legends of the Aurora

A theatrical journey into the myths, people and landscapes of the Arctic.

For generations, people across the Northern Hemisphere have created stories to explain the lights dancing across the winter sky.

Some saw them as messages from the spirit world.

Others believed they were signs, warnings or celebrations.

Legends of the Aurora explores this rich world of mythology and storytelling – bringing together legends from the North. It is a journey through imagination, history and human curiosity.

During one hour you will experience the legends of the Aurora together with a professional actor from Sadio Nor Theatre.

Go for a walk from the city centre, past the old city, along the docks and experience the legends.
