CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA and Kirchengemeinde St. Pankratius, Organistenweg 7, 21129 Hamburg
decide jointly on how and for what purposes data shall be collected and used in connection with this online ticket
shop, as described below, and therefore act, with regard to said data collection and data use, as jointly responsible
bodies within the meaning of the data protection regulations (collectively referred to hereinafter as ‘jointly
responsible bodies’), ), unless stated differently in the following. To that extent, the jointly responsible
bodies also bear joint responsibility for ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Policy is solely applicable to the personal data of those using this ticket shop, and to how said data are handled.
Data collection and data use on other platforms (e.g. www.eventim.de) is governed exclusively by the privacy policies
that can be accessed there.
As a basic principle, the User may visit the ticket shop without any personal details being collected. However, use of
the full range of functions provided by the ticket shop is not possible until the User has registered. This requires
the User to provide his or her name, address, telephone number and email address. The jointly responsible bodies
process the User’s personal details in compliance with the data protection provisions applicable to the agreements
concluded. This does not include ‘personal usage data’ (e.g. cookie data, website analysis), in respect of which
CTS EVENTIM is the sole responsible body. The data are automatically collected, processed and used by them to the
extent that is necessary to establish, design or amend the contractual relationships. CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA
uses the telephone number to contact you by phone should problems relating to payment arise (e.g. delayed payment
to CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA, chargebacks, incorrect bank details). The jointly responsible bodies have the right
to communicate these data to third parties that they commission to implement the agreements, should this be necessary
to fulfil the agreements concluded. The jointly responsible bodies do not otherwise disclose the User’s data
to third parties unless the User has given his or her express consent thereto. The User may revoke his or her consent
at any time, without reasons having to be given. CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA receives the User’s revocation
of consent as a central point of contact on behalf of the jointly responsible bodies, even if the revocation of consent
relates to the handling of data by the particular body with shared responsibility.
Shortly before the event
for which the User has purchased a ticket, CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA will send the User further information about
the event (e.g. routes to the venue, parking options), by email where relevant. After the respective event, CTS EVENTIM
AG & Co. KGaA will ask the User by email to rate the event; participation in such a survey is voluntary, of course.
In other to provide these services, the information referred to in 1 above is processed.
received when the ticket is purchased is used by the jointly responsible bodies to send Newsletters to the User and
to inform the User in future when events identical or similar to the one for which the User purchased a ticket are
held, provided that the User has not objected thereto. If the User so desires, CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA will
notify him or her by email as soon as there are new dates for the favourite artists and events selected by the User.
Note: The User may refuse consent at any time to his or her data being used for these purposes by the jointly responsible
bodies, e.g. in writing or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. No costs other than the basic rate for
transmission are incurred thereby. Users who have actively registered for the Newsletter can deregister from the
Newsletter at any time in any of the aforementioned ways. The CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA receives the User’s
revocation of consent as a central point of contact, even if the revocation of consent relates to the handling of
data by the particular body with shared responsibility.
The User may examine and change the data stored for use by the jointly responsible bodies at any time, by logging into
his or her user account. If the User’s data are to be deleted for ever, it suffices if the User sends a request
to that effect. CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA receives the User’s request in its capacity as central point
of contact on behalf of the jointly responsible bodies. Attention is drawn to the fact that, in some circumstances,
statutory or contractual archiving requirements do not allow certain personal data to be deleted until after a specific
period has elapsed. In that case, the data in question are blocked from use until they are finally deleted.
‘Cookies’ are used to help make the ticket shop and its functions as pleasant to use as possible. Cookies
are small text files that are stored on the User’s hard disk. They are used for the ‘shopping basket’
function and to generate statistics about how the ticket shop is used, in order to improve the website functions
continuously for the benefit of the Users. The jointly responsible bodies do not deploy any technologies that link
information obtained from cookies with user data, in order to establish the User’s identity. The ticket shop
may also be used without cookies, but that may cause the ticket shop to run with limited functionality. Web browsers
can be set to accept or reject cookies in general, or in specific cases.
Your IP address is used if this is necessary for technical reasons in order to provide the website. Also your IP address
is stored for security reasons for a maximum of seven working days, in order to ensure the stability and the operational
reliability of the IT systems deployed and to prevent or take action against any misuse of those systems.
CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA uses various software solutions to optimise its online services. These solutions allow website usage to be analysed and valuable information about the needs of users to be gathered, so that the user-friendliness and quality of the online services can be continuously enhanced. In order to perform such analyses, aggregated and anonymous statistical data are captured. These data are anonymous connection and clickstream data relating to the browser being used, the number of visits/page impressions and the browsing behaviour of the respective visitor to a Ticketshop website. The shortened IP address of the visitor may also be viewed in the course of data gathering and processing.
The data are analysed for the following purposes, in particular:
– counting the number of visitors
– tracking those areas of the website that are particularly attractive for the respective visitor
– analysing where visitors are from, in order to optimise the services provided
– adapting recommendations to specific target groups
This process involves the use of permanent "cookies" (see clause 3 above). By adjusting their browser settings, users are able at any time to block cookies, or to stipulate that cookies may only be set when explicitly accepted by the user. At any time, users can also block the use of their data in general, for all the solutions deployed, by selecting the ‘opt-out option’ presented by the respective solution. If the user opts out, it is possible that specific recommendations can no longer be made, however.
CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA deploys the following software solutions within the meaning of the above (by clicking the respective provider below, the user will be redirected to the opt out option):
Please note: Opting out is done using a cookie. If that cookie is deleted, the opt-out option must be reactivated.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on the user's computer and which allow an analysis of the use of the website. The information on the use of the website generated by the cookie is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. In addition, CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA has extended the Google Analytics code with "anonymizeIP" on this website. This ensures the masking of the user's IP address so that all data is collected anonymously. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address will be transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there.
On behalf of CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website in order to compile reports on the website activities and to provide other services related to the website usage and the Internet usage for the website operator. The user can prevent the storage of the cookies by means of a corresponding setting of his browser software; in this case not all functions of this website may be fully utilized.
The user can also prevent Google from collecting the data (including IP address) generated by the cookie and its use of the website (including IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link And installed: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially browsers on mobile devices, the user can also prevent Google Analytics from being captured by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie is then set which prevents the future collection of the user's data when visiting this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for this website and is stored on the user's device. If the user clears the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie must be set again.
CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA also uses Google Analytics to evaluate data from double-click cookies and AdWords for statistical purposes. If the user does not want this, it can be disabled through the Ad Manager (https://www.google.de/settings/ads/).
CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA uses Google Analytics, including the capabilities of Universal Analytics. Universal Analytics allows us to analyze the activities on our sites across devices (for example, when using a laptop, and later by using a tablet). This is made possible by the pseudonym assignment of a user ID to a user. Such an assignment occurs, for example, when the user registers for a customer account or logs on to his customer account. However, no personal data will be forwarded to Google. Although adding additional features to Google Analytics with Universal Analytics, this does not mean that there is a limitation of data protection measures such as IP Masking or the browser add-on.
