Sara Alhinho considers herself an artist without borders, withthe feets on her roots and wings throughout the world.

Born in Portugal, daughter of a Cape Verdean mother and aMexican father, gave her an intercontinental musical identity.

She grew up in Praia - Cape Verde a in a very rich culturalenvironment playing and hanging out with emblematic figures oftraditional capeverdean music.

She started singing at age of eight, she takes part in the recordingof the album “Menino das lhas” which was produced by PaulinoVieira (in the eyes of many, one of the greatest artists on the CapeVerdean music scene). This album became a classic of the music forchildren in Cape Verde.
